Do I need a medical background?

Not necessarily. Non-medical volunteers play vital roles in registration, logistics, and health education. Medical professionals can provide clinical support under supervision.

How remote is the location?

Samburu is a remote, semi-arid region in northern Kenya. The camp is about 5-6 hours from Nairobi. We arrange all transport for you.

What vaccinations do I need?

We recommend consulting your travel doctor. Common recommendations include Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A/B, and Typhoid. Malaria prophylaxis is also advised.

Is there phone/internet access?

Mobile network coverage is available in most areas but can be patchy. We provide a local SIM card. Wi-Fi is limited.
